‘For shame!’ Royal Mail is experiencing even more delays as a result of Covid, with 35 postcodes being affected.

Customers have received a new update from Royal Mail today, informing them of service delays in even more parts of the UK.

Due to Covid-related issues, such as staff shortages, Royal Mail is having difficulty meeting demand.

As a result, today’s delayed mail affects more postcodes than yesterday’s, implying that many Britons will have to wait days for their packages.

What areas are the most impacted?

Customers have been informed not only of which postcodes are affected by late mail, but also of which mail centers are affected.

Royal Mail stated that it uses an air, rail, and road network to transport letters and parcels between distribution hubs, mail processing centers, and delivery offices across the United Kingdom.

Although the company’s air, rail, and road networks have been running on time for the past 24 hours, the company’s mail centers are experiencing some issues.

Only one mail center had issues yesterday, but seven had issues today.

“Not all mail was processed or despatched to schedule over the weekend,” Royal Mail said. “As a result, some mail may be delivered slightly later than expected.”
