Jason Ginnelly memorial match to be played for Reach Learning Disability

After the success of a fundraising football match for a Royal Mail worker, his family and friends are organising another in his honour.

Jason Ginnelly, who previously played for Balderton football club and Holy Trinity FC, died in May 2017.

His family and friends organised a fundraising match last year, which raised around £700 for the Royal National Institute Of Blind People.

This year’s match will take place on Sunday at the YMCA Community and Activity Village, on Bowbridge Road, Newark, kick-off noon.

After the game, there will be a barbecue and raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses, at Holy Trinity Community Centre.

The chosen charity for this year’s match will be Reach Learning Disability, which recently opened a café in Balderton.
