The entrance to the small apartment block on Howick Place in Westminster, midway between Victoria and St James’s Park Tube stations, is appropriately discreet. Its interior, however, is anything but. The building’s former use as a Royal Mail sorting office may be evident in the industrial iron girders and supporting beams, but this is not your regular industrial chic warehouse.
