Malta Bend Post Office receives proposal for closure

On Oct. 28 the United States Postal Service submitted a proposal to close Malta Bend Post Office. USPS has estimated closing this office will save $1,106782 throughout the next ten years. The postal service plans to maintain the community name and zip code for addressing purposes.
