‘Most stylish European royal’ Beatrice Borromeo stuns in cream midi dress as she steps out at Dior’s Paris show with Princess Caroline of Monaco’s son Pierre

Beatrice Borromeo has been snapped attending the the Christian Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week.

The 37-year-old, who was recently anointed ‘most stylish European royal’ by society bible Tatler, was accompanied by her husband Pierre Casiraghi – both are ambassadors for the label.

Beatrice wed into Monaco’s glamorous royal family in 2015 when she tied the knot with Pierre, who is the youngest child of Princess Caroline and grandson of the late Hollywood beauty Grace Kelly.

Described by Tatler as ‘cut[ting] an elegant figure everywhere she goes – whether it’s a red carpet, a royal appearance or simply yacht-hopping’, Beatrice looked typically stylish today.

She wore a cream, midi length skirt dress, which was cinched in at the waist with a belt made of the same fabric.

Beatrice paired the frock with a pair of simple high heeled black pumps, and a small black handback, whose straps she looped around her wrists.

The stunning royal wore her long blonde locks loose, with soft waves flowing past her shoulders.

Meanwhile, her make-up was natural and classic, boasting a dewy base, peach blush, pink lip, and pink eye shadow.

Pierre was equally dapper, donning a grey two-piece suit, boasting a single-breasted blazer.

He paired the suit with a crisp white shirt, and a pair of classic black patent loafers. His look was finished off with a pair of large black shades.

The couple appeared pleased to be attending the event, and were snapped smiling in some images.

Other photos show the couple, who have been married since 2015, holding hands as they pose.

Prior to marrying Pierre, Beatrice, whose family owns the Borromean Islands in Lake Maggiore near Milan, along with land in the Lombardy and Piedmont countryside, worked as a newspaper and broadcast journalist in her native Italy.

On her wedding day in 2015 – dubbed the ‘chicest of the summer’ by Vogue – she wore four couture gowns, two by Valentino for a civil service in Monaco and two by Armani Prive for a religious service at Lake Maggiore.

Her family still own the Roca Borromeo castle where the reception took place.

She and Pierre have since become parents to two sons, Stefano, five, and Francesco, four.

A journalistic enterprise put Beatrice under the spotlight earlier this year: a Netflix documentary about a sensational murder case involving Prince Victor Emmanuel of Savoy, the heir to the Italian throne.

She has now turned her hand to documentary making, recently debuting the three-episode series The King Who Never Was on Netflix.

The series focuses on an event in August 1978 which remains a mystery to this day.

Prince Victor Emmanuel of Savoy, the last heir to the Italian throne, was holidaying at his summer residence on the island of Cavallo, France, when, enraged by a group of Italians partying on nearby boats, he produced a rifle.

He shot a young German tourist, Dirk Hamer, who was sleeping on the desk of one of the boats.

Victor Emmanuel was acquitted of murder charges in November 1991, following a lengthy court battle brought about by Dirk’s sister, Birgit Hamer – who was one of Beatrice’s mother Paola Marzotto’s oldest friends.

The Prince was convicted only of a firearms offence and given a suspended jail sentence of six months.

‘[The story] was a part of my family for as long as I can remember,’ Beatrice has said.

In 2011, while working for an Italian newspaper, she leaked a secretly recorded video of Victor Emmanuel allegedly confessing to the killing.

Victor, or Vittorio, Emanuele is part of the House of Savoy, which ruled Italy from 1861 to 1946, when they were displaced by the Italian Republic.

For her next project, Beatrice is making a film about the origins of the family she has married into: the Grimaldis of Monaco, Europe’s longest-standing royal family.

‘My company Astrea Films is producing the film about the seizure of the fortress of Monaco by the Grimaldi family in the Middle Ages,’ she said.
