Mountpark leases 137,865 sq ft at Warrington Omega to the Delivery Group

Mountpark Logistics has let a 137,865 sq ft logistics centre at Mountpark Warrington Omega to The Delivery Group for a specialist mail hub. The Delivery Group is consolidating its North West operations in the new facility, which also has space for further expansion. The facility is one of four units, totalling 757,555 sq ft, which Mountpark funded and worked in partnership with Omega Warrington Ltd and Homes England to build speculatively at its Warrington Omega development. The first unit of 346,153 sq ft was let to Royal Mail in 2018 before construction had completed.

“The Delivery Group handles over a billion items a year and as we continue to grow, this new distribution hub will help us to handle increasing demand for our services both nationally and internationally,” said James Wilkins, Managing Director, The Delivery Group. “We needed to get this new operation up and running in a short timescale and Mountpark has been very helpful in accommodating us.”
