Last Thursday, the Smothers family closed on their purchase of a four-bedroom house on Collierville-Arlington Road and on Saturday they moved in. On Tuesday evening, a call on his cell phone from a FedEx coworker watching weather radar prompted Forrest Smothers to leave his new attic and look into the sky.
