No More Michigan Foods Stamps for Alcohol, Cigarettes, Casino Money

COMMENTARY | Michigan House representatives nixed foods stamps for cigarettes, alcohol, lottery tickets and gambling money, yesterday. Welfare recipients can’t use Bridge cards to get cash from ATMs near casinos either. Yes, you read that correctly. Your eyes did not deceive you. Michiganders have been getting vice money from their food stamps, aka EBT cards.
