ON THE BOARD: Former ITV boss Adam Crozier made chairman of research firm Kantar

Former ITV boss Adam Crozier has been made chairman of research firm Kantar.

The company said the 56-year-old, who is also chairman of Premier Inn owner Whitbread, online fashion retailer Asos and cinema chain Vue, will start today. 

He was boss of ITV for seven years and before that ran The Royal Mail, The Football Association and was co-chief executive of advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi. 

Kantar declined to say what he would be paid. Crozier earns £650,000 from his jobs at Whitbread and Asos.
