Package Tour: Driving a FedEx Hybrid (New York Times)

THE first thing I noticed when I got behind the wheel of a hybrid FedEx Express delivery truck was the lack of an ignition lock. Instead of using a key, I borrowed one of the radio frequency ID tags that drivers swipe over a reader, and I hit the “engine start” button to get rolling.
