Pair of North East appointments at Vistry Partnerships

Vistry Partnerships has made two senior appointments in the North East as part of plans to grow its presence in the region.

Jonathan Rudge is the new head of land at Vistry Partnerships North East, having joined from property consultancy Bradley Hall.

Rudge brings more than 16 years’ experience of projects in the public and private residential housing sector.  He has been involved in regional and national initiatives for clients including Homes England, The Northumberland Estates, Royal Mail and the NHS.

He said: “I’ve worked with Vistry for several years and it’s great to become part of such a proactive and dynamic team and have the opportunity to affect real change in the region’s housing market and be at the forefront of regeneration and development.

“This is one of the largest and top performing developers in the UK and  I am looking forward to utilising Vistry’s significant financial strength to secure land which will deliver more exciting projects in the North East to help tackle housing need and support local economies.”

Melissa Flynn, a member of Ward Hadaway’s planning team, will join at the end of November to take up a post as development manager.

Flynn speclialises in planning law and has been involved in a number of significant development projects in the region, including the South Seaham Garden Village.
