Pembrokeshire students experienced a day in the House of Lords.
Pupils from Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi joined more than 400 others in Westminster for the ‘Learn with the Lords Day’.
On June 12, they explored the Houses of Parliament, gaining insights into the House of Lords’ role in law-making, government accountability, and committee recommendations.
The educational event concluded with a Q&A session with members of the House of Lords, including Lord Kennedy of Southwark, chief whip of the Labour Party.
This visit provided students with a firsthand understanding of the UK’s legislative process.
