PENSIONER’S POEM TO SAVE POST OFFICE (North-West Evening Mail)

A POETIC pensioner has given chapter and verse on what she thinks of the planned closure of her local post office. Dorothy Brown, 69, who moved to Holborn Hill from Barrow 13 years ago, was moved to write a poem after the announcement that the Millom post office was one earmarked for the chop.
