Post office closures delayed temporarily

SILVER CITY – Post offices on the chopping block around the country got a reprieve Tuesday after the U.S. Postal Service agreed to put a temporary moratorium on closing any postal facilities at the request of 15 U.S. senators, including New Mexico Sen. Tom Udall.
