Post office takeaway plan refused

THE FORMER Astwood Bank Post Office is set to remain empty after councillors turned down an application to turn it in to a takeaway. Redditch Borough Council’s planning committee refused plans to enable the building to be used as a restaurant, café or hot food takeaway at a meeting on Wednesday.
