Postal service to consolidate Kilgore, Overton offices

The Overton post office will be losing five employees this month after they are transferred to Kilgore. That will leave one employee in Overton. “I don’t think it’s going to help our community. If we don’t have (postal) facilities how can we bring in more business?”
