Quarterback Cannon Smith, son of FedEx founder, chooses Tigers (Memphis Commercial Appeal)

Former University of Miami quarterback Cannon Smith, who left the Hurricanes last week and attended a University of Memphis football scrimmage last Thursday, will throw his next pass for his hometown team. Smith is transferring to Memphis, a move confirmed Sunday night by his father, Fred Smith, FedEx founder and CEO.
