Royal Mail’s biggest rival has sparked fury by demanding a clampdown on posties’ pay and conditions. Dutch-owned postal giant Whistl – formerly TNT Post – dismissed warnings that Royal Mail services are under threat because rivals are “cherry-picking” the profitable routes.
