Royal Oak woman says thieves stole her mother’s ashes (Battle Creek Enquirer)

ROYAL OAK — A Royal Oak woman says the theft of her mother’s cremated remains reopens some emotional wounds. Della Walker says her mother died 11 years ago. She says her ashes were in a sealed box, and she thinks the thieves did not know what they had.
