Rural Post Office to Close Due to Postmaster Vacancy

A rural western Kansas post office will close at the end of this week, at least temporarily, because it’s without a postmaster. The Garden City Telegram reports that the Marienthal post office is among about 3,700 nationally subject to reviews that could lead to their ultimate closure.
