Scammer gets six months confinement for eBay fraud (The Argus Leader)

A Sioux Falls man has been sentenced to six months home confinement for selling knockoff purses and clothing through the Internet auction site eBay. James VanAmpting also must pay $22,440 restitution and a $1,000 fine, records show. He will be on probation for five years.
