‘Sort it out!’ Royal Mail enrages residents after 129 postcodes continue to experience delivery delays.

MORE areas in the United Kingdom have been added to the list of Royal Mail delivery offices that are experiencing delays.

As a result of the ongoing pandemic, Royal Mail has recently experienced a series of delays.

The postal service is currently disrupted in 129 areas across the United Kingdom.

Air, rail, and road are all used by Royal Mail.

The network transports letters and parcels across the UK between distribution hubs, mail processing centers, and delivery offices.

Royal Mail’s rail and road networks have been operating on schedule for the last 24 hours as of today, Thursday 13 January.

Except for one exception, Royal Mail’s air service ran on time over the last 24 hours.

“A flight from East Midlands to Exeter was cancelled due to a technical fault with the aircraft,” the website explains, “and mail was transferred to contingency road services.”

“As a result, a small number of letters and parcels sent on Wednesday in North Wales and the North and Midlands regions of England and due to arrive today at addresses in the far South West of England may arrive later than expected.”

In the case of mail centers, some have reported that over the last 24 hours, all mail was processed or dispatched according to schedule, and as a result, some mail may arrive slightly later than expected.

Some mail was delivered today to addresses in the EC, N, W1, and WC postcode areas after being sent from across the UK on Wednesday.

Some mail was delivered today to addresses in the OX, RG, and SN postcode areas after being sent from across the UK on Wednesday.

Some mail from the TR postcode area was delivered today to addresses all over the UK.

Royal Mail says that deliveries are “operating normally across the majority of the country today.”

“We still aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week,” the company says.

“However, due to local issues such as Covid-related self-isolation, high levels of sickness absence, resourcing, or other local factors, this may temporarily not be possible in a small number of local offices.”

“In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimize the delay to individual customers,” the website continues.

“We also offer targeted assistance to those offices in order to help them overcome their obstacles.”
