The last ever Peter Rabbit 50p coin has been released

The famous children’s stories featuring a naughty rabbit has now a final and complete set of collectible coins.

After Jemima Puddle Duck, Tom Kitten and Jeremy Fisher, the little rabbit has now a fifth coin in his image via the Royal Mint website.

The new coin shows him sneaking under a fence, being his cheeky and curious self.

This particular illustration has been designed by Beatrix Potter herself.

The series was first launched in 2016, to celebrate the 150th birthday of the famous author.

While Jemima Puddle-Duck was for a long time considered the most precious of them, another coin featuring the silhouette of Ms. Potter herself was released the same year.

Four years after the release of the first coins, the series comes to end, as collectors can now finish their full sets.
