Trees torn down at downtown post office

A crew tore out trees and shrubs Wednesday at the downtown post office and federal building, and the sod will come out next, a crew leader said. The healthy linden tree near the corner of Bailey and Third was cut down at 5 p.m. and loaded into a dump truck.
