We are the weakest link • The Register

Webinar It’s a startling truth but 45 percent of workers in the US believe using public Wi-Fi is safe.

At the same time, the 2021 Egress Insider Data Breach Survey found that a staggering 94 percent of organizations surveyed had suffered an insider data breach with human error the principal cause. Almost three quarters of organizations were breached because employees broke security rules and 73 percent were victims of phishing.

Hybrid working is becoming the de facto pattern of employment after it saved the day during lockdown. But it’s an approach that carries a high level of risk from employees who might just let that malicious email slip through or allow a family member or friend to access their work computer at home. Fortunately, there are mitigations to this threat landscape. Watch the Register’s recent webinar to find out how companies are reacting to the risks posed by their employees.

You’ll learn how to strengthen your security posture to aid business continuity and what can be done to mitigate the impact of, and recovery from, malevolent email.
