; Statesman News Service DURGAPUR/TAMLUK/BEHRAMPORE/KOLKATA, 15 JUNE: In one of the worst days of post-poll violence in the state, a CPI-M karmadhyaksha of Burdwan Zilla Parishad was shot dead in Mongalkote this morning, while a CPI-M party office and an abandoned police outpost were torched and the house of a CPI-M party leader was ransacked in Midnapore West.
